Being a beginner golfer, you tend to be looking for the quickest way to improve your game. When the pros do it, it looks so easy, but when you try...well.... things can be a little harder.

My game at the moment is pretty basic - I've only played maybe a dozen times ever, if I can get to within a couple of shots below par, I'm happy. The point of a good book on golf though is whether you feel the tips actually made a difference to your game. I feel this book has actually done that - For example, I've been one of those people that tries to hit the ball too hard. It sounds simple and it is, but taking out a smaller club can take 5/6 shots off your game - this is one of the tips recommended in the book.

I also enjoyed the fact that this book isn't 1000 pages. The author gets to the point quickly and identifies major problems in common techniques and offers simple solutions to fix them. If you don't have weaknesses in your game, you won't need this book, but for the rest of us beginners, this book is supremely helpful. I think you should be honest with yourself, if you are capable of that then you should enjoy this book.

I'm very keen to try out a few of the other technique tips in this book and see if I can get go even better.

Written by a novice? Just alot of common sense. A waste of money. This will not help me improve in any way
Good information and very easy to understand. I really like the workout and eating for energy tips.

There were a lot of good ideas in this book. I would have liked a few more tips for the "older" golfer. If you read this book before the start of each season it will help jog your memory of good and bad things to do and not do.
I got this book for my husband as a small side gift on his birthday. He's read a good amount of it already and he is eager to apply some of the techniques. Definitely recommend this book to those looking to improve their game!
I've been using workouts from this book for about a month now. I can start to feel the difference in my game with the simple exercises the book outlines. The book also covers different aspects of your life to help you achieve your golf goals. You will find clear strategies to improve your swing, put and stamina. This book is a great place to start if you want to get your golf fitness program up and running. I'm looking forward to continued progress!
